Last Friday, March 13, I was invited by the Poznań branch of the Polish Kennel Club (ZKwP) to the Top Dog Poznań 2025 gala. During the ceremony, I received awards from Mr. Tadeusz Chwalny, honorary chairman of the Poznań branch of the ZKwP, for show achievements at the World Dog Show in Helsinki in 2025. - the title of World Winner 2025 for Elton and World Junior Winner for Nessie.
That evening, after the awards were presented, I reminisced with Mr. Tadeusz Chwalny about our first meeting in the show ring. It was in May 2022 at the International Dog Show in Leszno. Mr. Tadeusz was judging greyhounds at the time, including Elton (in the junior class) and Aria (in the champion class). He awarded both of them excellent ratings and very positive descriptions, wishing them continued success in their show careers. Imagine Mr. Chwalny’s amazement and joy when I told him that he had judged the future World Winner and the mother of the future Junior World Winner back then! He admitted that such news delighted him immensely, as it confirmed the accuracy of his assessment of my dogs from years ago.
I am glad that our successes have been recognized and distinguished among the achievements of many other exhibitors. For me, they are not only a confirmation of the quality of my dogs, but also proof that it is worth believing in yourself and fulfilling your canine dreams.
