Gaja joined our family in December 2025, when she was already 5 months old. She is definitely the most energetic Deerhound in our pack and absolutely loves… running through water. If she comes across a stream, a lake, or even a large puddle along our walking route, Gaja will without a doubt launch into a sighthound sprint, happily splashing water everywhere. She also enjoys inviting other dogs to sighthound-style play, which is not always understood by them. She loves running, and if any member of our canine crew suggests a game of chase, Gaja will never say no. She also won’t refuse… watching TV together with a human, especially if that human is simultaneously petting her and scratching her back.

In terms of conformation, Gaja differs from my other Deerhounds, she is a different type: lighter in build, more slender, with a less abundant coat. Her beauty was appreciated in May 2025 at the prestigious Europasieger Show in Dortmund, as well as at other shows in Poland and abroad, where Gaja earned her junior champion titles.
